Connected Sources
This is where every GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps account you've linked lives. It's the control room for the data everything else in CodePulse is built from — if a repository's numbers look stale, this is the first place to check.
What you'll see
- Totals across every connected account — repositories, branches, commits, and how many commits branches are behind
- A card per account with a status badge (Active, Paused, or Pending), auth method, repo count, and last sync time
- Expanded details: sync progress, stale-branch drift, a sync timeline, and per-repository AI review progress
- The time of the next scheduled sync — CodePulse syncs automatically twice a day
What you can do
- Sync now — pull the latest commits immediately instead of waiting
- Check access — re-verify that stored credentials still work
- Edit — rotate a token or key without disconnecting the account
- Pause or resume AI review, and delete an account you no longer need
- Search across accounts by name or provider
Add Account
The form that connects a new provider account. Pick GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps and you'll only be asked for the fields that provider actually needs — nothing generic, nothing you have to guess at.
What you'll see
- A tab per provider, each with its own tailored fields
- GitHub: choose a GitHub App (App ID, Installation ID, private key) or a Personal Access Token
- Bitbucket: Atlassian email, workspace, and an API token
- Azure DevOps: organization, an optional project, and a PAT
- A "?" next to every field linking straight to that provider's own settings page
What you can do
- Submit and watch it validate live against the provider before saving anything
- Get a field-specific error immediately if a token or key doesn't check out
- Reuse this same form later to rotate credentials on an existing account
Executive Dashboard
The front door — this is what loads first. It's a company-wide read on engineering health: how things are trending, where the risk is concentrated, and who's doing what, all filterable by account, repository, developer, branch, and date range.
What you'll see
- Company Health Signals — the headline KPIs, each with a trend sparkline and a tooltip explaining exactly how it's calculated
- A delivery-risk panel and a health trend chart
- Top contributors, an AI-usage breakdown, and an AI-written summary of the period
- A quality-adjusted developer performance table
- An Executive Score Matrix — 0–100 gauges across the metrics that matter most
- A searchable repository grid, branch health/drift, and a live feed of recently AI-reviewed commits
What you can do
- Narrow everything on the page with the scope filters at the top
- Hover any metric's info icon to see exactly what it measures
- Search the repository grid directly
Projects
Every repository CodePulse tracks, in one portfolio view — built for spotting which projects need attention before they become a fire.
What you'll see
- Portfolio Signals — scoped averages for health, security, and risk
- A dismissible risk banner calling out projects at High or Medium delivery risk
- A searchable project grid, filterable by connected account, project, developer, and detected technology
- A risk table paired with a top-contributors leaderboard, plus a live feed of recent AI-reviewed commits scoped to your filters
What you can do
- Filter by technology stack to see only your React repos, or only your Python services, for example
- Search projects directly by name
- Click into the risk banner's callouts to see exactly which projects are flagged
Developers
A directory of every contributor, scored on quality, overall performance, and security — useful for 1:1s, performance conversations, or just knowing who's been heads-down this week.
What you'll see
- Team Signals summarizing the whole group
- A card per developer with three animated score rings — Quality, Overall, Security — plus commits, hours, and last-activity date
- A live-pulse dot on anyone active in the last 3 days
- Rank medals for the top 3 contributors by commit count
What you can do
- Sort by name, most commits, highest quality, highest AI score, highest security, most hours, or latest activity
- Search for a specific person by name
- Click any card to open that developer's full profile
- Scroll to load more — the list keeps loading 60 at a time
AI Review Center
Every commit CodePulse has run through automated AI review, with the full diff and findings one click away. This is where you actually read what the AI found — and, if it's right, do something about it.
What you'll see
- Review Signals — average quality, security, and business-value scores, plus total issues found
- A searchable, sortable list of reviewed commits, each with a colored score ring and an issue-count badge
- Open any commit to see the full file-by-file diff with findings tagged by category — security, quality, or practice — anchored to the exact line
What you can do
- Sort by most recent, highest/lowest quality, or most issues
- Copy Fix Prompt — generates a ready-to-paste prompt for an AI coding assistant to fix the issue
- Deploy fix (per-file or all at once) — if your company has AI deploy turned on, push a suggested fix directly
Technical Debt
A read on where a codebase is quietly accumulating cost — duplicate code, lingering TODOs, and how much refactoring time it would take to clean it up.
What you'll see
- Debt Signals — a debt score, estimated refactoring hours, TODO count, and duplicate-code percentage
- Work Concentration & Technology Mix — where changed lines are landing (backend, frontend, database, etc.)
- Projects broken down by technology stack, plus an effort/quality split and a trend-over-time chart
What you can do
- Scope everything to one project and a specific date range
- Export Report — download the current view as a report
Security Center
Every AI-flagged vulnerability, triaged and ready to act on — from a single dashboard rather than buried in individual commit reviews.
What you'll see
- Severity Signals summarizing open findings by count
- A weekly security trend chart and a vulnerability heatmap by project
- A findings table filterable by project, severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low — color coded), and branch
What you can do
- Search findings by free text
- Click "View fix" on any finding to open remediation guidance in a modal
- Copy Prompt — generates a ready-made prompt for an AI coding assistant to fix that specific vulnerability
- Export Report, and scroll to load more findings
Sprint Analytics
Sprint-level delivery tracking that sits alongside the code data — not just what shipped, but what was planned to ship, and how the team's actually spending its hours.
What you'll see
- Sprint Signals covering delivery and velocity for the current or a custom date range
- A project summary table and a team-contribution leaderboard by commit count
- A searchable sprint task board that loads more cards as you scroll
What you can do
- Create Project Task — add a task by hand; it starts at 0% and is tracked expectation, not code
- Upload Doc/PDF to Auto-Create Tasks — upload a planning document and CodePulse parses its bullet points, numbered lists, and TODOs into individual tasks automatically
My Team
Only visible to an Account Admin — someone a platform super admin set up directly with one connected account or repository, no company required. This is where that person builds their own small team on top of what they were given.
What you'll see
- Invite a team member — name, email, a role label (Owner, Developer, Manager, Team Lead, or CTO — a title only, it doesn't change access), which repositories to hand them, and which sidebar sections they'll see
- Pending & Recent Invites — status of everyone you've invited so far
- Team Members — everyone active, with their assigned repositories and sidebar access visible at a glance
What you can do
- Pick multiple repositories for one invite if you were given a whole connected account; if you were only given one repository, it's assigned automatically
- Choose sidebar access from whatever you yourself were granted — you can't hand out more than you have
- Resend or cancel a pending invite
- Edit permissions, deactivate, or delete any team member at any time
